Just like with painting the preparation step is the cornerstone of a successful wallpaper installation, ensuring a flawless outcome. It starts with meticulous wall preparation – a thorough cleaning to eliminate any old wallpaper paste residue, dirt or grease. Next is a thourough fill and sand of the whole surface to be papered followed by the application of a sizeing solution. For particularly troublesome walls this is the point they may get hung with lining paper.

Hanging the wallpaper
