The key steps to a flawless finish

Hiring me means you ge the benefit of extensive experience, refined skills, practised techniques, and professional tools, which collectively ensure a superior paint job that transforms spaces with precision and lasting quality.

Airless Spraying

Precision Painting

Airless spraying is a highly effective painting technique that involves using a spray machine to apply paint at high pressure, creating a fine, atomised mist that results in a smooth and uniform finish as it hits the surface being painted. Airless spraying has the ability to cover large surfaces quickly and efficiently, reducing painting time significantly compared to traditional methods. The main benifit ensures even coverage which eliminates brush or roller marks, and provides a factory finish look. Moreover, it’s particularly useful for achieving a consistent finish on uneven or textured surfaces.

HVLP Spraying

Efficient Application

HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spraying is a painting method that employs lower pressure while still delivering a high volume of paint. This technique offers distinct advantages by providing finer atomization of paint particles, resulting in an exceptionally smooth and controlled finish. Ideal for situations where you want to keep overspray to a minimum. Whilst it maintains the flawless finish unlike airless spraying, that easily coveres large areas, HVLP is ideal for painting woodwork, doors, banisters, kitchen cabinates and radiators.

New Build Spraying

Uniform Finish

If you want the best possible finish on your newly plastered renovation, extension or even house build then airless spraying is the best option avalible. This method ensures uniform and even coverage with each coat being twice as thick as traditional roller application. Additionally, the recoat efficiency of airless spraying means more material can be applied in a shorter time ultimately leaving you with a more durable paint finish.

Kitchen Spraying

Painting Plaster

Cabinet painting is one of the fastest and simplest ways to transform the look and feel of your tiered kitchen without breaking the bank. Painting cabinets in situ offers the ability to renovate and refinish your kitchen to a factory finish. The sprayer’s ability to reach intricate details ensures a even and professional look, free from the imperfections often associated with traditional brush application. Why replace when you can respray and have a kitchen you can love for years to come.

Meeting each other for an initial consultation is the first part of the process. When you book a consultation with me we discuss the following points;

  • Project requirements and goals
  • Colour preferences
  • Paint finishes
  • Project timeline
  • Questions or concerns you might have

Following these discussions, I take accurate measurements of all surfaces to help me gauge the precise quantity of paint required. This forms the basis for crafting a comprehensive cost estimate, incorporating labor, materials, paint, and any additional requirements.

Estimations are supplied by email and contain an itemised cost for each element of the job along with a discreiption of the work to be carried out.

Every sucessful job starts with the correct planning. These are some of the following points I take into consideration when planning your job;

  • Scheduling
  • Ordering and Procurement
  • Communication
  • Contingency Planning
  • Quality Control

In planning my painting projects, I prioritise a well-structured timeline to assure the job is carried off without a hitch. Procuring materials in advance ensures a seamless process. Transparent communication with you, a contingency plan for unexpected challenges, and vigilant quality control measures are important factors in delivering a successful outcome aligned with both mine and your expectations.

As any Deccy worth their salt knows preperation is half of the job. Here are the stages eah and every job I do goes through;

  • Surface Inspection and Preparation
  • Surface Cleaning
  • Protection and Masking
  • Pre-paint Treatment
  • Paint Application
  • Quality Checks
  • Clean Up

Carefull inspection and a keen eye allows me to prepare surfaces before fixing any flaws. Cleaning thoroughly and safeguarding the surroundings ensures everything is ready before painting. My focus on detail, application of multiple coats and regular quality checks all contribute to achieving a refined and long-lasting finish.

If you’re not 100% happy, neither am I. The only reason you know I have been should be by the work I have left behind. The clean-up and sign-off stage is critical in ensuring the completion of the project with me knowing everything is done to your satisfaction. The last few stages to go through are;

  • Removal of Protection
  • Cleaning Surfaces
  • Restoring the Space
  • Vacuuming and Sweeping
  • Client Walkthrough
  • Addressing Concerns
  • Touch-Ups and Corrections
  • Obtaining Sign-Off

These last parts of the process are just as key as the previous ones. Successfully ticking them off allows me to know you are happy with everything, which means I can walk away knowing I have done my job correctly and to a high standard.
